You have to create a Business Profile on Google in order to add your business information to Google Maps and Search.
If you do not yet have a business profile, then you have to fill out this form and register.
But if you see a page that reads “This listing has already been claimed,” click Request access and follow the instructions to claim your business.
Select “Add your Business”, and provide the necessary information.
Select a category that describes your business.
Add a physical address. But if your business is virtual and you do not have a or office for customers, you can choose “no.”
Add where you serve your from. For example: Lusaka, Zambia. However, this is optional. So if you serve customers from all over the world, you can skip this part.
Add the general region where your business operates from.
Add a phone number, email address or any other contact details. But if you don’t want the world to know, then skip this step.
You are just a few steps away from finishing. Click Finish to complete the registration process.
Verify your business. Simply choose the option that is ideal for you.
If you select to verify, you’ll get a confirmation. When you receive the postcard, it will show you how to complete the verification process.
